THE WILTERN: PURPOSE-LED DESIGN FOR A NEW GENERATION OF RENTERS
We’re thrilled to officially launch our latest Build to Rent project: The Wiltern. Located in Perivale, West London, this bold new development combines striking Art Deco architecture with design-led interiors. Of the 278 apartments at The Wiltern, we’re proud to have furnished 207, bringing our signature approach to every detail.
Appointed by PIC in 2022, we worked alongside Amro Living, HTA Design and Savills to shape a cohesive design strategy that reflects both the building’s heritage and its future-focused vision. As part of AGC, Britain's first B Corp certified interior design collective, our goal was to deliver thoughtful, stylish spaces with sustainability and tenant satisfaction at the centre.
"It was a pleasure to collaborate with PIC, Amro and HTA on such a distinctive project. The Wiltern is a bold design statement with real environmental credentials, and it gave us the perfect opportunity to explore both practicality and creativity in equal measure."
Sophie WILSON, SENIOR DESIGN DIRECTOR
OVER 3,000 PIECES, TWO INTERCHANGEABLE SCHEMES
Across the studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, we delivered more than 3,000 pieces of furniture through two distinct yet interchangeable schemes. Both drew inspiration from the building's glazed exterior tiles, with rich greens and blues echoed through key upholstery details. Every element was selected to reflect the lifestyle of the young professional market, with pet-friendly choices and future-proofed functionality.
From early design workshops to the final installation phase, we collaborated closely with all stakeholders to ensure visual continuity and practical value. That consistency extended across all touchpoints, from material palettes and layouts, to the delivery schedule and leasing strategy.
MORE THAN LOOKS:
A NET ZERO DEVELOPMENT WITH REAL IMPACT
The Wiltern itself is setting the bar for ESG-led BTR developments. Designed to outperform Building Regulation Part L compliance by 62%, it signals a meaningful shift in how we think about modern rental living. And we’re proud to have shaped interiors that reflect that same purpose.
Fun fact: for every one of the 207 apartments at The Wiltern, we planted a tree. That’s 207 trees, helping to offset 10,350kg of CO2 as part of our wider sustainability mission. It’s a small move with a big message, great design doesn’t cost the earth.
We see The Wiltern as a reflection of what thoughtful, collaborative design can do in Build to Rent. If you're working on something and want to chat about interiors that work hard for both residents and ESG goals, we’re all ears.
